Life's new dimension...!

Hey Folks! Breaking the long lasted silence, here I'm with a new experience of mine. My latest passion!

Guess what? Painting! :)

I've always wanted to do a portrait of Rahul Dravid, ardent fan, but didn't know how to paint. I mean I didn't get a chance to learn it from the scratch [i'm not born genius ;) ]. Finally, the day has come and I've painted quite a few pictures in different styles. To name a few : Tanjore painting, Nirmal painting, Madhubani and Oil painting. It's been 3 months since I started learning painting [just a beginner :) ].

I've got a few tips for you. Some may seem a bit silly but I think if you don't take care of them, finally it'll make you feel silly.
  • If you are using a board which has a hanging bolt already fixed to it, make sure you paint on the right direction. See to that you don't paint upside down.
  • Never go for a complicated picture if you are trying to learn. Go for simple ones and paint them big so that you can do every bit of it clearly.
Tips will continue as and when I experience it...

I've posted a few of my works. Have a look! :)

Learning from mistakes......!

Nobody tells you what "love" is. Parents never talk about it and siblings say "just stay away from it". As far as i've experienced, love is the keyword for doing something. You can even term it as "achieving something". If u dont love it, you'll never do the work precisely. But most of us make mistakes in search of love. To name a few- 5 Galatiyan! - it's on the right side. If you are in love, it means you've lost your peace of mind. Yes, there's always a curate's egg in everything.

Despite the fact, everyone must feel it!

Life Main Kabhi Kabhi...........

You should be wondering what I'm going to write now with that title on the top. It's also connected to the name of my blog. People ask me why i kept the name "Just Deep In" for my blog? That's the name of my diary. It's not surprising, isn't it? Girls keep names for everything and anything that's close to their heart.

So... Why have I kept this title? Certain things that's happening in my life right now is not the way i wanted it to happen. Just to share how I feel when I score low in GRE and how my passion -Bharathanatyam, is fading away from me.

Why is it I scored low in GRE? Didn't I practice enough? Or did I loose my concentration? Finding answers to all these questions, I could figure out that to gain something you must loose another thing. So, what did I loose here and what did I gain? I could measure myself with the test, the ability to express my thoughts in words and the wanting to write more and more. My brother would ask me to read books and newspaper. I never did that until 3 months ago when I decided to write GRE. It's not that easy to learn English words in such a short span. May be I found answers to all my questions.

Talking about my passion, it's not only Bharathanatyam but any form of dance. Now that it's only Bharathanatyam, my performing art. Why am I loosing interest? No, it's not the interest as such. When you find politics interfering everywhere, you loose your passionateness. What do I mean by politics here? It's not about the ruling party or the non-ruling party, I mean the relationship with the students and their teacher and the bond with their co-learners. It's hard to tolerate, when you see people who learn art only for the sake of earning fame and not for the love towards it. These incidents really disturb me a lot. Would the world change?

Inadvertent Gestures

One October evening, the sky was wearing a dark black dress with a lustrous veil and a gentle zephyr, brought the smell of the Earth. Birds were flying unitedly to reach their homes for shelter. Chhaya, walking tardily, felt the cold yet enjoyed the weather. She was dressed in her best clothes, a lovely baby pink wrap over with pink slip-ons and a bag. Every movement of hers pictured her mood. Flipping out her legs, she passed the tiled sidewalk and then leaping from the pavement, she moved to a grassy surface.

Walking past under a tree, suddenly Chhaya felt a hand on her shoulders, the tactual sensation that stayed very close to her heart. Even before she turned to see who it was, she knew. Those eyes that spoke without words and would reassure that “I’m there for you.”… Those lips that would say “Hi, Chhaya!” with a lovely smile that enlightened the day… Those arms that would pat on her head to bid goodbye and would comfort her when she’s sad…

Chhaya could hear the voice she was longing for. It said “Hi, Chhaya” in a husky way. She was flying in the air. She felt as though the Heaven had come down to Earth just for her. She could hear some birds chirping happily from their nests. Chhaya knew this would be the best day in her life. She couldn’t believe her ears. The weather grew worse and the wind started blowing raspingly as though it’s going to take away everything from her. Every time she missed him, she could figure out that her love on him was growing deeper and deeper. She had many dubious thoughts running all over her mind and wanted to ask him if he ever loved her. Something was really stopping her in asking so. Finally she uttered those words to know the truth, “Do you love me?”

Tring……….. Tring…………..
Tring……….. Tring…………..

That was her mobile. She picked it up and said “Hello, Chhaya here”. It started to rain heavily. She replied back to the person over the phone, “On my way home honey!”.
